Hello colleagues and greetings to all: I am still very happy with my Zontes T310 especially for city use and short trips, but for long trips with the witch as a passenger, it is a little short and tight especially with luggage.I am thinking of doing something crazy and treat myself with the 10% I have saved and buy a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The first cousin Continental 650 GT has very good reviews, but little or nothing about the Interceptor. I like the Interceptor better because:- it has a larger capacity tank- it has a much more upright riding position, with higher handlebars (important for an old man like me with stiff joints)- you can carry a passenger without problems (not so with the Continental)- it is more suitable to put top case and saddlebagsI understand that mechanically they are identical or almost, but I am interested to know the opinion of those who have or have driven it, to know how is the handling, stability and agility of the bike.Very grateful from now.

Royal Enfield developed the engine completely from scratch. It is a 648 cc twin-cylinder with mixed air/oil cooling, DOHC four-valve cylinder head and an output of 47.4 hp (34.9 kW) at 7,150 rpm. Torque is 52.3 Nm at 5,150 rpm, enough to launch it over 160 km/h (100 mph). It is not a model designed for racing, but to enjoy a great thrust at mid-range, while seeking to transmit the purest possible sensations.

There are no changes in the cycle part of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 2021. It continues to rely on a conventional fork (protected by bellows) of 41 mm and 110 mm of travel. At the rear, a double shock absorber with preload adjustment reinforces the classic character of the Continental GT. In the brakes section, a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, with two-channel ABS.

It has plenty left over. It’s a great bike. I’ve been saving up for this bike for a while. I went to see it at Royal Enfield Vicente Lopez (official dealer) and came out of there crazy, confirmed everything I researched on the Internet, reviews, etc.. It is tremendous in that style as it is not a bike for speed, it is a versatile bike in the city and powerful on dirt roads.

«They say that the finishes are not top notch, that the engine material tends to rust and dull relatively quickly, but I assume that depends on the weather and there are videos of an Englishman who waxes it with a product that comes just to protect it from that.

I also read somewhere that the electric part is a little bit difficult to use in a few cases, and that the position of the pedals can be a bit annoying especially when you put your feet down and try to walk it a little bit.
